This memorial has been set up with great love for a dear daughter Elizabeth "Buffy"Miller. My daughter Buffy has always been a vary special young lady. I can truely say Buffy never gave me any problem's. She had great goals for herself and was on her way of achieving them. Buffy was attending Randleman High School for four year's and during those years she took JROTC and ROTC with SGT Major Jenkins and Chief Garner. They really helped Buffy along the way to guide her in her goal's. She loved music and had a beautiful voice that would not stop. She use to sing song's to her brother's William and Cory at night to get them to go to sleep. Her brother's really love and miss her really bad. William went into the JROTC at RHS because he told me that he was doing this in Buffys honor. His Baret he wore in this class he put in on the picture of Buffy that we have sitting at the head of her bed. He said he wanted to put this with her picture because he was doing this in her memory and he really wanted to give her something of his. She was in coral Onsombal in high school for two year's. Her teacher Ms.Sherk was really special to her she would tell Buffy you can do it....Before concert's Buffy had her lemon juice for her throat close by. One of the concert's she sung by herself and she told me she was so nervous but, it was so wonderful because she looked like a little angel on stage an her voice was so beautiful and she sang from the heart. I want forget there was people saying how beautiful she sounded and one man asked if she sang in the choure at church and I told him no but, I really think she could do it. She loved all and if she was ever needed no matter the time she would jump in her car and go try an help.I know because there was times I went with her. Buffy joined the military a year before graduation. She told me she really wanted to do this an she needed me to sign. As I was signing those permission papers tear's was in my eyes and my heart was breaking but, I knew she knew what she wanted in life and it wouldnt be fair if I tried to take that from her. She went thru boot camp with a blast. She said she was glad it was over because she was home sick. The first thing she done when she got home was lit some candles and took a long bath...Ha ha....She said they only could take showers while she was in boot camp and AIT.... On graduation day I was sooooo glad to see her. She told me I looked like a rabbit running to her all I know is I was sooo happy to see may baby girl and I had missed her so bad I didnt care how I looked. Her drill commander said he could tell that I had to be Buffys mom the way I was running. Ha Ha...Willam and Cory were wright behind me then Kevin and Granny and Pap. We were so glad for that day. I told her she looked like skin and bones. They work hard trying to keep in shape. Then we had the entire day with her but, then it came time we had to leave and she had to go back to her group so she could start AIT training. I cryed all the way home. It was hard to not grab her an put her in the trunk and take her back home. Bless her heart she told me only 7 more week's and I'm home...Thank God and I tell you that was the longest 7 week's. Buffy always put the Lord first. She knew who had her life in his hand's was the Lord. Then on Dec 05,2004 on her way to her Army Unit Buffy was in head on collision at 7:11AM and on impact the Lord took her home. It has been really hard but, I have kept reminding myself Buffys daddy was with her now , and he was taken home one week before she turned two and she really missed her daddy I know. But now she is getting all those hug's and kisses she really missed out on. Jesus does not make mistakes I dont understand alot but, I do know he know best and he was in that car with my baby girl looking after her. And thank God she didnt suffer any. My daughter is staying close to the Lord I am sure. So when I pray i know that God is close to me I have every assurance that my Buffy is close to me also. I get such joy when my heart is so warm thinking of those special memories of her and that beautiful smile and I really believe that when that happens that Jesus is giving a special blessing to me because I know she is close. One day Jesus will call us all home and we will never have to say good bye again and it will be worth it all.....I want to say Thank you to all of Buffys friend's and all her teacher's at RHS and RMS for really being so good to my daughter. Also I want to Thank the US Army for giving her such a beautiful ceremony. Also I would like to Thank SGT Major Warren for the time he has spent with our family helping us thru all the things we had to go thru and for helping make it alot easier. Thanks goes to her unit she really cared about all of them alot. She had a great time having such special friend's. Also I would like to say to our family member's you knew Buffy and you know how special she is to us all and how much you loved her.
